Fake Carabinieri Scams Target Garda Business Owners: Stay Vigilant

They impersonate Carabinieri when making phone calls to hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurant owners in the mid and upper Garda area, offering subscriptions to magazines of the armed forces.

They are not military personnel but fraudsters who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, police force, fire brigade, or municipal security.
