Farewell to Luca Pedrali, underwater diving expert in Chiari

On Thursday, October 16, at 3:30 PM, the funeral for Luca Pedrali, a renowned cave diver and underwater diving enthusiast, will be held in Chiari. He passed away in Sardinia due to a sudden illness during an exploratory dive. Pedrali, who celebrated his 59th birthday on July 24, had managed to resurface independently from the waters of the Su Gologone spring, but his condition rapidly deteriorated once he was out of the cave. The funeral will take place at the Cathedral of Saints Faustino and Giovita, starting from the Mombelli Funeral Home. Originally from Chiari and residing in Salò with his wife Nadia Bocchi, Luca Pedrali was well-known for his remarkable achievements in the field of diving. In 2017, he set the Italian record for deep diving in Lake Garda, reaching a depth of -264.8 meters. He was also an active member of the Garda Volunteer Group, contributing as a diver and ambulance driver. The local community has expressed their condolences for his passing through messages on social media. Italian Version
