Confesercenti Lombardia Orientale has raised concerns regarding the proposed amendment to the regional law on agriturismi, scheduled for this afternoon, Wednesday the 5th, at 3 PM in the VIII Commission. The proposed amendment aims to reduce the mandatory quota of local products that must be served in agriturismo establishments located above 600 meters in altitude from 30% to 20%. According to the association, this change could create a regulatory imbalance that would disadvantage public establishments and traditional catering activities. Barbara Quaresmini, president of Confesercenti Lombardia Orientale, has urged the regional councilors who signed the amendment to withdraw the motion and engage in dialogue with the trade associations. She emphasized the importance of protecting the catering sector, highlighting that the industry is showing signs of difficulty and requires a shared vision to support those who operate in compliance with regulations and quality standards. Today’s session represents an opportunity to raise awareness within the VIII Commission on these crucial issues for agriturismi in the region. Italian Version
