The first Regional Truffle Fair will take place in Ferrara di Monte Baldo, an event scheduled from July 18 to 20. The event, presented in the presence of several local authorities, including the President of the Province of Verona and the Mayor of Ferrara di Monte Baldo, aims to promote the truffle as a hallmark product and a resource for the region’s tourism development. Sustainable practices in truffle cultivation will be encouraged, featuring educational activities and dedicated workshops, as well as demonstrations of truffle hunting with trained dogs.
The program includes a variety of initiatives, such as exhibitions and sales of truffles, gastronomic events like “Truffle and Wine in the Village,” guided tastings, and a conference on best practices in truffle cultivation. The inauguration will take place at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 18, while the fair will close at 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 20, with the awarding of the “King of Truffles” competition. The fair is organized in collaboration with various local associations and institutions, highlighting the importance of food and wine culture in the region.
