The Le XGiornate festival celebrated its twentieth edition in Brescia, with a significant event titled “When Justice Speaks… Another Language.” On September 24, 2025, the Fermi High School in Salò collaborated with the Soldano Foundation to set up the “Zapatos Rojos” project in the town square. Under the direction of Professor Silvia Carminati, eleven students actively participated in a symbolic march dedicated to the victims of violence, coinciding with the presentation of the book “Figli, figlie” by Ivana Bodrožić, which addresses issues of discrimination and generational violence. During the event, experts such as lawyer Valeria Cominotti and legal philosopher Natalina Stamile discussed various aspects related to justice and culture. The students read significant excerpts from the book, fostering a constructive debate on the topic. A poignant moment was the a cappella performance of Tori Amos’s song “Me and a Gun,” which added emotional depth to the gathering. The evening concluded with a video message from artist Elina Chauvet, creator of the original Zapatos Rojos installation, conveying a message of hope and social mobilization. Italian Version
