Fight at Lido Bar 3.9: Public Safety in Crisis in Desenzano

A violent brawl broke out in recent days at the Lounge Bar “Lido 3.9” in Piazza Matteotti in Desenzano del Garda, prompting the Chief of Police in Brescia, Paolo Sartori, to suspend the establishment’s license for ten days. The incident occurred after repeated complaints from residents regarding disturbances, culminating in a fight between customers and staff that required the intervention of police, Carabinieri, and medical personnel. The brawl was reportedly sparked by trivial reasons related to the payment of the bill, with some intoxicated customers reacting violently to the refusal of a discount.

Authorities confirmed that among those involved were two bar employees, one of whom struck customers with a metal rod. The injuries sustained by the victims resulted in prognosis ranging from 5 to 10 days. Four individuals were charged with brawling and aggravated assault, receiving a “DASPO WILLY” which prohibits them from entering public venues in Desenzano for a period of 1 to 2 years. Chief Sartori emphasized the importance of public safety, stating that every citizen should be able to enjoy services without fear stemming from irresponsible behavior.
