Fire at A21 toll booth in Brescia: firefighters intervention ongoing

A fire broke out at the Brescia Sud toll booth on the A21 highway this afternoon, starting around 2:00 PM. The flames originated from a van loaded with tires and quickly spread to the entire structure of the toll booth. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. Currently, four teams of firefighters from Brescia, Mantova, and Cremona are actively engaged in firefighting operations. By 3:45 PM, the firefighters announced that the flames are now under control and that cleanup operations are underway.
