Following the Madruzzo and the Inviolata in Riva del Garda

The Museo Alto Garda will host a new “Museo in città” event on **Saturday, 22 August at 10:30**, focusing on the **Madruzzo family** and the complex of **Santa Maria dell’Inviolata** in Riva del Garda. The guided itinerary will start at the museum, including a look at selected paintings preserved in the Pinacoteca, and then move through the family’s role in the city’s artistic and cultural development.

The route will take participants to the **Madruzzo courtyard** and to the history of the **Inviolata church**, built outside the city walls. While the exterior is described as restrained, the interior features **Baroque decoration**. The visit will be led by **Luca Bertolini**, who will connect the family’s story with the broader history of Riva del Garda.

Participation costs **€3**, to be added to the museum entrance ticket. The ticket also allows access to the museum **during and after** the event, and **no reservation is required**.
