Francesco Vidotto Presents The Fir and the Birch in Manerba del Garda
Manerba del Garda hosts the third event of LibroLago on Monday, July 6 at 7:00 p.m., featuring writer Francesco Vidotto at the Church of Santa Maria in Valtenesi (Pieve Vecchia). Vidotto will present his latest novel, *L’abete e la betulla* (Bompiani), in a conversation with journalist Valentina Berengo focused on his relationship with nature and human connections.
In the book, Vidotto departs from a traditional novel structure to offer a poetic, symbolic tale about the relationship between two different trees—used as a metaphor for feelings, acceptance of others, and the bond between people and the natural environment. The event is part of the first edition of LibroLago, a cultural initiative promoted by the Manerba del Garda Library; for the full program, organizers refer to the event preview article on GardaNotizie.
The series continues toward its conclusion with the final appointment on Wednesday, July 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Pieve Vecchia, where writer Teresa Ciabatti will present *Donnaregina* (Mondadori). The July 6 event starts at 7:00 p.m., is outdoors, has free entry, and organizers suggest booking via Eventbrite; parking is available in via Pieve Vecchia, via Montanina, and via Verdi, with the meeting held at Pieve even in bad weather.
