Free Telepass for Tourists: Simplified Mobility in Verona and Lake Garda
Holidays in Verona and on Lake Garda without queues at toll booths: free Telepass for tourists is here. A new pilot project launched in Verona, also aimed at Lake Garda, promises to simplify tourist mobility in Veneto. Thanks to the collaboration between Federalberghi Veneto and Telepass, supported by the Region, starting next year an innovative device called “Telepass Grab&Go” will be available, allowing guests of accommodation facilities to easily access the highway without facing long waits at toll booths or using cash. The initiative was officially presented in Verona, with the participation of the Vice President of the Veneto Region and Councilor for Public Works, Infrastructure, and Transport, Elisa De Berti.
The service is designed to enhance the experience of tourists heading to the beaches of Lake Garda and other high-traffic locations. With over 73 million annual visitors to Veneto, many of whom are concentrated in the areas around Lake Garda, this measure represents a significant step towards more efficient and sustainable mobility in the region. The project is part of a broader strategy to position Veneto as a cutting-edge destination in transportation and tourism hospitality.
