Brescia continues to affirm its status as a vibrant center for culture, thanks to recent funding from the Lombardy Region that supports ten projects in the Brescia area. The regional assessor for Culture, Francesca Caruso, announced a total investment of €233,120 dedicated to initiatives ranging from archaeology to libraries, as well as the enhancement of historical paths. Among the beneficiaries are significant organizations such as the Piero Simoni Foundation for archaeological research in Prevalle and several local libraries that will be transformed into multifunctional cultural hubs.
The projects also include the Ecomuseum of Botticino, which will initiate the creation of a Digital Ecomuseum to make documents and traditions accessible through interactive tools. Additionally, the cycling and walking route along the Karolingia in Alta Valle Camonica will be enhanced, with specific funding aimed at promoting sustainable use of the path. This funding opportunity represents a significant step toward strengthening accessibility and the preservation of cultural heritage in the province, demonstrating the Region’s commitment to supporting initiatives that actively engage local communities.
