The Lombardy Region has recently announced funding for 10 cultural projects in the area of Brescia, totaling 233,120 euros. This initiative is part of the “Single Notice Culture 2025” call, aimed at promoting educational and cultural activities that support interventions designed to enhance the historical and intangible heritage of the province. Among the beneficiaries are significant prehistoric sites such as those in Valtenesi, as well as various local libraries that will be transformed into multifunctional cultural centers, thereby contributing to greater accessibility and enjoyment of culture.
Among the most notable projects is the funding of 17,100 euros to the Piero Simoni Foundation for archaeological research in Prevalle, along with significant resources for the library network, such as the 25,000 euros allocated to the “Margherita Biondi” Library in Darfo Boario Terme. The regional councilor for Culture, Francesca Caruso, emphasized the importance of these interventions in strengthening the cultural identity of the involved territories, highlighting how each project represents a crucial piece in the collective narrative of the Brescia community.
