On June 6th, the distinctive aromas of this extra virgin olive oil captivated Japanese visitors through a dual tasting that also highlighted Italian DOP cheeses. The event, organized in conjunction with the conference “Geographical Indications: a Bridge between Italy and Japan,” aimed primarily to showcase Italian gastronomic excellence to the Japanese audience.
The Consortium for the Protection of Garda DOP Oil represented the elegance and quality of this product from Lake Garda, renowned for its delicacy and fruity notes. The Consortium President, Avv. Simone Padovani, expressed satisfaction at the opportunity to participate in such significant international events, emphasizing the growing interest among the Japanese public for products with Geographical Indication.
