On the weekend of May 3rd and 4th, significant sailing events will take place in the waters of Lake Garda, with notable activities in Riva del Garda and other surrounding locations. The Coast Guard has issued a notice to inform boaters about the scheduled regattas and processions. Specifically, on Saturday, May 3rd, from 9 AM to 12 PM, there will be a lake procession for the “Blessing of the Fishermen” in front of the Madonnina in Riva del Garda, during which cautious navigation is advised.
Additionally, on both Saturday and Sunday, two regattas will be held: the “Balardi Cup Moth” between Malcesine and Navene from 7 AM to 7 PM and the “Trofeo Luca Avesani” in the Municipality of Brenzone from 11 AM to 6 PM. Finally, on Sunday, May 4th, the sailing regatta “La Virgiliana” will take place in Peschiera del Garda from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. During all these events, the affected areas will be closed to other nautical activities to ensure the safety of all participants.
