The Garda Maçç regatta of 2025 showcased the teams from Desenzano del Garda, with the vessel Black Arrow, helmed by Michele and Walter Caldonazzi, triumphing in the overall competition after a course of over 50 miles, completed in 10 hours and 37 minutes. The event, supported by the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV), gathered sixteen boats that sailed from Desenzano to Riva, facing variable weather conditions that tested the endurance and skills of the crews. Notably, the team Satanasso, led by Michele Pasotti, excelled in the X2 category, demonstrating a high level of competitiveness among the participants.
Despite some organizational challenges due to bad weather in the preceding days, the committee ensured the regatta took place. Raffaele Valsecchi, a historic figure of the event, expressed satisfaction with the success of the occasion: “All the boats completed the race,” he stated. Andrea Ferrari, helmsman of Poison, also described this edition as memorable for the challenges faced at sea. Concluding on a note of enthusiasm and sportsmanship, the crews are already preparing for the next event in 2026.
