Garda Region Scammers Pose as Police in Fake Magazine Subscriptions

They pose as Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurant operators in the Middle and Upper Garda region, offering subscriptions to magazines of the force.

These are not military personnel but scammers who, from time to time, claim to be part of the finance police, the police, firefighters, or municipal police authorities.

They often offer subscriptions to non-existent magazines or magazines that have nothing to do with law enforcement agencies.
