Garda Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri to Target Local Businesses

They pose as Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurateurs in the Middle and Upper Garda, offering subscriptions to magazines of the force.

They are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to finance, police, fire brigade, or municipal officers.
