Garda Tourism Training Programs Enhance Service Quality and Competitiveness

There is a growing awareness of the importance of training, especially in the tourism sector, with companies in the Garda area engaging with new realities and supporting efforts for qualification.

From this perspective, the Unione gardesana albergatori veronesi (Ugav) presents a training program reserved for owners, their collaborators, and employees of affiliated companies, who make up approximately 70 percent of the hotel businesses along the Riviera degli Olivi.

This is an articulated series of professional development and training initiatives, focused in particular on new technologies for hotel management, informatics, internet, and service quality.

However, there is a continuous need to increase the level of “quality” of the service to optimize business management as a competitive factor.

Computer courses and seminars

Therefore, linked to the basic computer courses (nine hours of lessons starting January 31) and the advanced course in computer science and Internet (from March 8 to 13), is a seminar on how to manage and motivate human resources. This will be promoted and organized on Lake Garda by the Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Promo-veneto and specialists from TeamWork (January).

Among other courses to be held in Garda at the Ugav headquarters are approaches to quality as a competitive factor and a session dedicated to reception staff.

More detailed information can be requested from the organizational secretariat Ugav (tel. 045.6270404), as well as for courses offered by the Ente Bilaterale Turismo del Garda Veronese on other topics and without overlaps. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
