Today, Monday the 21st, in the heart of the Park, the official cancellation of the commemorative stamp celebrating 50 years of Gardaland Resort took place, an event that saw the participation of numerous institutional representatives. The stamp, issued by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy as part of the thematic series “The Excellences of the Productive System and Made in Italy,” not only celebrates Gardaland’s milestone but also acknowledges the contribution of the students from the “Enrico Fermi” Comprehensive Institute in Romano di Lombardia, who conceived the project. During the ceremony, Stefano Cigarini, CEO of Gardaland Resort, emphasized the importance of the initiative as a tribute to the park’s iconic role in the Italian collective imagination.
The stamp is now available at post offices and on Gardaland’s official e-shop and features historical symbols such as the Tree of Prezzemolo, the park’s mascot. The ceremony also saw the presence of Undersecretary Fausta Bergamotto and other local representatives who recognized the strategic value of Gardaland as an ambassador for Made in Italy. The students’ idea was met with enthusiasm and demonstrated how new generations can actively contribute to enhancing Italian culture through creative and meaningful initiatives.
