Gardone Riviera Bricks Medieval Exhibits and Workshops with Lego

The “Medioevo in bricks” exhibition dedicated to Lego takes place at Villa Alba in Gardone Riviera on February 28 and March 1. The event features original Lego models of castles, knights, ruins, and dragons, with free entry. Organized by Franciacorta Bricks and supported by the Pro Loco and local municipality, the event includes creative workshops for children, a marketplace for Lego sales, and a competition for young builders divided into “brickini” (ages 6-10) and “bricketti” (11-15).

Additionally, the event hosts two lectures on the Middle Ages by Professor Fabrizio Pagnoni of the University of Milan. On Saturday at 4 p.m., the lecture focuses on community, migration, and entrepreneurship around Lake Garda in late medieval times, while on Sunday at 11 a.m., the topic is medieval onomastics and social identity.
