Gardone Riviera Launches Trail Cleanup Initiative to Preserve Local Walkways

Call for Trail Cleanup

Volunteers in gloves and brooms are sought to help clean hiking trails. The appeal has been launched by the Assessorato all’ecologia of the Comune di Gardone Riviera, which is reintroducing a previously successful initiative.

It is called “Still Together for the Environment” and aims at recovering and cleaning some pedestrian routes that run from the lakeside area towards the gentle inland hills.

The invitation to participate is open to all people, residents of Gardone Riviera and visitors alike, who wish to contribute to the maintenance and preservation of an important public asset: the walkways set amidst the greenery of the “garden city,” available to residents, tourists, and visitors—a significant heritage for the local tourism industry.

Materials Provided to Participants

Participants will be supplied with gloves, rakes, and other tools for trail cleaning.
