Gardone Wins Court Dispute; 1.1 Billion Euros in Assets and Investments

Following the ruling of the Court of Cassation that definitively resolved the dispute between Salò and Gardone regarding the division of assets of the former resort company (the Casino, cinema and restaurant, boat service, and the valley), ruling in favor of Gardone, which will remain the sole owner, the mayor summarized the current situation.

Encouraged by an inquiry from the minority groups, Alessandro Bazzani explained that the annual rental income amounts to 241 million euros, and that, at present, the bank account shows an active balance of 1.1 billion euros.

“We have already committed 656 million euros for extraordinary maintenance of the buildings, compliance with fire safety regulations, and the renovation of via Rimbalzello. An additional 50 million will be allocated for the valley. In short, the funds are directed towards maintenance and beautification projects,” said the mayor. s.z.
