Gargnano and Community Safety: a Defibrillator for Villa
A semi-automatic defibrillator was installed today, October 29, in Piazza a Villa di Gargnano, thanks to a donation from the sports group Gs Montegargnano. This commemorative gesture is dedicated to the president of the running association, Cesare Bernardini, who passed away in February 2018 due to a cardiac incident. The defibrillator serves as an important life-saving device for community safety, aiming to prevent further tragedies and safeguard the health of the population. The mayor, Giovanni Albini, expressed his gratitude to the sports group for this initiative, emphasizing that “the safety of citizens also relies on collaboration with local associations.” This gift is seen as a virtuous example of how sports can promote essential values such as solidarity and care for others, actively contributing to the well-being of the community.
