Gargnano hosts the Children Wind Cup for children’s solidarity
The Children Wind Cup returns to Gargnano for its nineteenth edition, an event that celebrates solidarity among children and provides a unique opportunity for young patients in the pediatric oncology department. On Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Porto Vecchio in Bogliaco, the event organized by the ABE (Associazione Bambino Emopatico) in collaboration with the Circolo Vela Gargnano will welcome families and children starting at 10:00 AM. The day will be filled with games, entertainment, and a food stand until 1:30 PM, when the children’s regatta will commence.
Approximately thirty young participants will board the sailboats to experience the thrill of competition alongside experienced sailors. This initiative aims not only to bring smiles but also to raise funds for the project “Il cibo nelle fiABE,” which seeks to improve the nutritional quality for children undergoing cancer treatment. ABE President Lorenzo Tonini and the president of the Circolo Vela Gargnano, Francesco Capuccini, emphasized the importance of this event in creating a playful and stimulating environment for the children, thus contributing to their well-being during the treatment journey.
