Gargnano to Stage Historical Onion Festival Reenactment on Sunday, July 26

The traditional “Festa delle Cipolle” historical re-enactment returns on Sunday, 26 July 2026 in Gargnano, organized with the Brenzone sul Garda municipality. Navigarda will run a boat shuttle to help visitors reach the event area, departing from the Magugnano and Castelletto jetties.

The boat service leaves Magugnano at 10:30 and Castelletto at 10:45, with a return scheduled for 16:00. The round-trip fare is €10. On site, lunch is available by reservation, and the Torneo di Trisac takes place at 14:00. Participation in the event requires mandatory booking through the Brenzone IAT Office, which provides information and sign-up details.

Separately, the Castelletto Band Corps will hold a mobile concert on Friday, 3 July at 21:00 at the Porto harbor, led by Maestro Gianfelice Giacomazzi. The summer music calendar also includes dates on 16 July in Magugnano, 26 July in Castelletto and on board to Gargnano, and 31 July in Castelletto.
