ASST Garda has announced the establishment of the Kindness Award, an initiative aimed at all employees of hospitals and local health facilities, with the goal of promoting more humane and respectful relationships within the healthcare context. This recognition will be awarded on November 13, 2025, coinciding with World Kindness Day, and seeks to highlight kindness as an essential form of care for patients. The Health Director, Pietro Imbrogno, emphasized the importance of a positive and collaborative work environment, where courtesy not only enhances interactions with patients but also fosters better relationships among colleagues.
The specially appointed committee will assess the behavior of candidates for the award, encouraging a culture of humanization in healthcare. Through this project, ASST Garda aims to reinforce the core principles of the National Health System, placing the individual at the center and thereby improving the overall effectiveness of healthcare delivery.
