The 59th Grape Festival will take place in Castelnuovo del Garda from September 19 to 21, enlivening Piazza Libertà and the central streets of the town. The official inauguration is scheduled for Friday at 8:30 PM, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Mayor Davide Sandrini, who invites families and tourists to join in and discover the local gastronomic delights in a festive atmosphere. Among this year’s highlights is “Narrando Castelnuovo del Garda,” an immersive walking tour that provides a unique experience with special headphones, culminating in a tasting organized by the Pro Loco.
The program also includes stalls from local farms and the “Via dei Sapori,” featuring 19 booths along Via Marconi and Via Roma. Culinary events will abound, including a show cooking demonstration on Sunday, while music will accompany the evenings with various performances, including musical tributes and dances. The traditional running event “Marapergola” will take place on Sunday morning, underscoring the festival’s significance as a gathering moment for the local community.
