The Groppello Festival in Calvagese has returned for its ninth edition, scheduled from Thursday, September 5, to Sunday, September 8, at the Don Luigi Poli sports field. The event, organized by the Gnari del Gropèl, offers an opportunity to taste wines from local wineries in Calvagese and neighboring towns, with a tasting glass available for 5 euros. Alongside the wines, visitors can enjoy Brescia’s culinary specialties such as spiedo, porchetta, and slow-cooked beef with Groppello.
Every evening starting at 8 PM, there will be concerts and DJ sets, while on Sunday, there will also be a parade of vintage tractors. The festival embodies a strong spirit of solidarity: last year, 5,000 euros were raised for local associations.
