Guardians of Baldo: enhancement and participation for the territory

A new project for the enhancement of the territory has been launched for Monte Baldo, known as the “Garden of Europe.” The program, titled “Custodi del Baldo” (Guardians of Baldo), aims to actively involve everyone who loves this mountain, inviting citizens, hikers, and enthusiasts to become part of a community dedicated to the protection and care of the environment. Promoted by Apollo Studios SAS through the Sul Baldo platform, the project is based on various levels of membership, with contributions that will support maintenance activities for trails and natural areas, allocating at least 10% of the revenue to conservation initiatives. The campaign is not limited to fundraising; it positions itself as a genuine movement to give voice to local stories and traditions of the area. Through events, editorial productions, and multimedia tools, “Custodi del Baldo” seeks to create a participatory narrative that enhances the culture and identity of Monte Baldo. In a context where overtourism poses a threat to the environmental and social values of Italy’s mountains, this project emerges as a significant initiative to promote civic responsibility and love for the land.
