A heavy vehicle accident has caused significant disruptions to the Basso Garda traffic, resulting in 12-kilometer-long queues on the A4 motorway heading towards Venice. The incident, which involved several heavy vehicles, occurred in the early hours of Thursday, April 24, between Peschiera and Sommacampagna, generating intense traffic that progressively affected the surrounding roads as well.
As the hours passed, the queues began to ease, but significant slowdowns were also reported between Castenedolo and Calcinato and along the Sp11 bypass between Desenzano and Sirmione. Fortunately, the drivers involved in the accident sustained only minor injuries. The relevant authorities are monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of motorists and facilitate the flow of traffic.
