Navigarda, the governmental body responsible for managing public navigation services on the lakes, has announced job openings for engineers to expand its technical staff. Applications are open for three permanent positions, including one reserved for engineers with a degree in electrical, electrotechnical, or electronic engineering, and two positions for naval or mechanical engineers. Pietro Marrapodi, the agency’s manager, emphasized the importance of having an efficient fleet to promote public water transport, making it a preferred option for both residents and tourists along the lakeshores. The search for new professionals aims to ensure the planning and coordination of maintenance activities, thereby contributing to the technological modernization of the existing fleet.
