A rescue operation took place during the night between Tuesday, September 30, and Wednesday, October 1, on Monte Baldo, where a young hiker experienced a medical emergency in the mountains while near the Cerbiolo Pass. The 25-year-old woman from Pescantina was hiking along trail 661 with some friends around 7 PM when she began to feel unwell, prompting her companions to raise the alarm. The Unified Emergency Center activated the team from the Ala Station of the Trentino Alpine and Speleological Rescue, which responded with an off-road vehicle to malga Lavacchio and then continued on foot to the reported location. Meanwhile, an ambulance was dispatched to Pian della Cenere to await the woman’s arrival. After being stabilized by the rescuers, the young woman was transported on a stretcher along a path made treacherous by rain to malga Lavacchio, from where she was transferred to the ambulance for necessary medical checks.
