Hinterland Gardesano Kicks Off 2026 with Felter Costantino Grand Prix Trial in Puegnago

Hinterland Gardesano resumed racing on January 25, 2026, with the first event of the Gran Prix Felter Costantino and the 2nd Cross of Puegnago, attracting 154 walkers and 240 cross-country athletes. The event, part of a series dating back to 1978, aimed to surpass last year’s total participation of around 2,000 despite cold, muddy conditions caused by rain. The races were held in three waves and were valid for the Fidal Brescia calendar.

Top finishers included Noemie Bouchard (Atletica Saluzzo) in the women’s/allies 4 km race with a time of 15:46, and Lorenzo Romiti (Virtus Castenedolo) among male allies in 16:23. Other category winners were Hajar Assamidi (Atletica Gavardo 90) among Promises and Sergio Bodini (Rebo Gussago) over 65. The next event is scheduled for February 1 in Prevalle, with the second Gran Prix stage set for March 29 at the 15k Calvaruntrail.
