Holiday dialysis Desenzano: enhanced healthcare services for tourists
The ASST Garda has enhanced its holiday dialysis service in Desenzano by announcing the opening of a third evening shift dedicated to tourists and vacationers. This new service will be available during the months of July and September, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, from 7:00 PM to midnight. The decision was made in response to the increasing requests from visitors who require dialysis treatment during their stay in the Lake Garda area.
The dialysis center at Desenzano Hospital will ensure adequate care with the presence of two nurses and a doctor for each session, guaranteeing safety and quality without compromising the daytime shifts for residents. With a maximum of six patients per session, the service aims to balance healthcare needs with leisure activities, allowing patients to fully enjoy their day before the evening treatment. This initiative represents a significant step towards the integration of healthcare services for tourists, reaffirming Desenzano as a key player in this sector.
