A hunter has been reported for illegal hunting in the inland area of Valtenesi, after being discovered by wildlife guards from Arci Caccia in a coordinated operation with the Provincial Police. The man, who was without a license, was caught using prohibited tools to capture protected birds, including electromagnetic devices that mimicked the call of the robin and a trap cage containing a live specimen as bait.
The charges against him include illegal possession of firearms, use of banned methods, possession of protected wildlife, and aggravated theft against the State. During the intervention, law enforcement seized various illegal tools, including two rifles and other equipment used for unauthorized hunting practices. The operation highlighted illicit activities that threaten local wildlife and the integrity of the environment in the region.
