A 20-year-old boy suffered a medical emergency in the water yesterday, Thursday, May 1st, while he was at the Sabbioni beach area in Riva del Garda. The young man, who was trying to retrieve a ball with his friends, surfaced visibly struggling and began to flail. His companions reacted quickly, bringing him back to shore and alerting the emergency services.
Upon the arrival of the medical personnel, the boy received the necessary care and was subsequently transported by helicopter ambulance to the hospital in Trento for further examination. The situation caused moments of great concern among those present on the beach, but fortunately, the prompt intervention of the rescuers ensured he received immediate assistance.
