A 48-year-old German tourist suffered a serious medical emergency on the beach of Manerba, specifically near the Baia Verde campsite, just before noon. It is suspected that the woman experienced a cardiac arrest while walking with her husband, who promptly contacted emergency services by calling 112 for assistance. Upon the arrival of the rescue team, which included a medical vehicle and an ambulance from the Volontari del Garda, the situation was critical, as the woman was already in cardiac arrest.
CPR was performed on-site, and the tourist was subsequently airlifted in critical condition to the Civile Hospital. The incident drew the attention of several tourists and passersby on the beach, while the Coast Guard also intervened to carry out the necessary investigations.
