Padenghe has inaugurated a new multipurpose tensile structure, an important covered space dedicated to sports and community activities, located next to the school gym on Via Talina. The project, which involved an investment of 710,000 euros, addresses a local need by providing usable spaces during the winter months for various recreational activities. The ceremony was attended by representatives from the local administration and the Lombardy Regional Minister of Education, Simona Tironi, along with regional councilors Diego Invernici and Floriano Massardi, highlighting the commitment of institutions to promote social infrastructure. The tensile structure was built between the summer of 2023 and September 2024 on a 600-square-meter concrete base, featuring a glulam roof designed to ensure safety and durability. Funded through a zero-interest loan from the Credito Sportivo for 500,000 euros, with the remainder covered by the municipal budget, the facility is equipped with insulating panels to cope with winter temperatures and LED lighting for evening use. Mayor Albino Zuliani emphasized that this new infrastructure will serve not only the school complex but also local sports groups and associations, contributing to social cohesion within the community.
