Inauguration of the integrated nursery in Bardolino: a new educational hub
Bardolino has inaugurated the new integrated nursery and kindergarten “De Gianfilippi”, a modern building located on Via Dante Alighieri, last Saturday. The facility, rebuilt from the ground up after the demolition of the old nursery in February 2024, spans three levels and features a spacious terrace. This new educational institution, which complements the existing primary and secondary schools in the area, represents a significant step forward for the local community. Mayor Daniele Bertasi emphasized that this place is not just a building but a fundamental foundation for the future of children, providing them with a safe and stimulating environment.
The inauguration marks the completion of a project initiated in 2023, realized with an investment exceeding 14 million euros. Construction began in May 2024 and was completed last July. During the event, Bertasi highlighted the importance of the school as a gathering center for families and as a response to the current demographic crisis. Laura Boscolo, president of the De Gianfilippi Foundation, expressed gratitude to those who contributed to the realization of the facility, hoping it will become a place of joy and growth for children.
