In Gargnano, the International Courses of Italian Language and Culture have officially commenced, now in their 68th edition. Organized by the University of Milan, the courses will take place from July 14 to August 2, 2025 at the historic venue of Palazzo Feltrinelli, overlooking the lake. The opening ceremony featured the participation of Rector Marina Brambilla and the President of the University Language Center SLAM, Fabio Mollica, who emphasized the importance of these courses in promoting the Italian language and local culture to students from around the globe.
This year, students from 18 different nationalities will participate, including those from the United States, Brazil, and Germany. The program includes an intensive cycle of lessons totaling 90 hours, accompanied by cultural activities such as visits to historic lemon groves and guided tours. The courses are open not only to university students but also to foreign citizens with at least a B1 level of Italian, in line with the cultural legacy of the Feltrinelli family, who donated the palace to the university in 1948.
