In Gardone Riviera, the renovation of the Grand Hotel Gardone will commence this autumn, with construction expected to begin in September. This project is backed by private investors and will operate under a brand affiliated with the prestigious Hilton group, marking a new chapter for this historic establishment. Mayor Adelio Zeni has confirmed that the work will last approximately two years and will transform the hotel into a renowned international 5-star resort, thanks to an investment of 45 million euros from the Lithuanian group Apex Alliance and the Romanian company Paval Holding.
The project includes the creation of over 160 rooms, two restaurants, two bars, a wellness center, and extensive spaces dedicated to public events. During a recent meeting with representatives of the ownership, the mayor also discussed local traffic issues and urban planning, mentioning the possibility of a underpass along the Gardesana, for which a feasibility study will be initiated.
