Joint exercise in Barbarano di Salò: Alpine Rescue and Firefighters

An important joint exercise between the Alpine Rescue and Firefighters took place in Barbarano di Salò, involving the technicians from the Valle Sabbia station of the CNSAS and the SAF personnel from the Salò Detachment. During the activity, which initially raised concerns due to the presence of rescuers on the riverbed, descents were carried out from the road to simulate emergency situations in rugged terrain. The exercise took place in recent days and is part of a shared training program aimed at improving the operational readiness of the teams. The main objective of the activity was the standardization of operational procedures, thereby ensuring better interoperability among the teams and effective coordination of communications. This type of collaboration allows rescuers to gain a better understanding of the operational methods of other departments, facilitating quicker and safer interventions in urgent technical rescue situations, which are becoming increasingly frequent in the area.
