According to initial reports, an ignited stove caused a flare-up that quickly engulfed the elderly woman, drawing the attention of neighbors who attempted to assist her before calling emergency services.
Rescue teams promptly arrived on the scene with an ambulance and firefighters, transporting the woman urgently to the Civil Hospital of Brescia via air ambulance. Despite medical efforts, her condition has been reported as critical due to burns covering 90% of her body. Authorities are currently conducting investigations to clarify the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
