Desenzano is at the center of an investigation after the Carabinieri from the Labor Inspectorate discovered labor irregularities in a well-known establishment in the city. The chairman of the board, a 40-year-old resident of the capital, has been reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for violations related to workplace safety. The infractions identified have resulted in administrative fines totaling 20,800 euros, as the man failed to comply with several provisions outlined in the Consolidated Law on Health and Safety in the Workplace.
The checks did not conclude with this report: the Administrative Police Division of the Brescia Police Headquarters is examining the compliance of the security staff’s duties and the validity of the professional certifications of those involved in the provision of food and beverages. Additionally, an investigation by the Financial Police is underway to ascertain any irregular or “under-the-table” workers within the establishment. The investigations are ongoing and may lead to further developments in the coming weeks.
