Lacisiese Leads Fire Safety Training for Gardesani Municipal Staff

The Lacisiese was the first among all Gardesani municipalities to organize a training course to prepare its staff for fire fighting. Led by the Verona fire brigade in collaboration with Studio 626 di Calmasino, the course included a practical fire extinguishing test and a highly selective final exam, both of which were successfully completed by the various participants.

Reactions and comments from the authorities

Justifiably proud, Sergio Menini, the municipal councilor and a firm supporter of the initiative that finally updates the public administration to modern needs, commented: “We cannot demonstrate unpreparedness when facing these events if one of our staff members is involved.”

He also emphasized that — being a tourist municipality like ours, it is constantly under the attention of guests.

Sharing the same opinion, assessore Lucio Lonardi stated that the Municipality further demonstrates “a strong focus on safety issues and is at the forefront in the Gardesane area in terms of prevention training for its personnel”.

Based on the effort invested and the enthusiasm expressed by the participating employees, coordinated by Vando Chignola, there is now peace of mind for those frequenting municipal buildings, knowing they have qualified assistance in case of fire.
