Lake Garda Events From July 20–23, 2026: This Week’s Highlights

From July 20 to 23, the Lake Garda area hosts a packed events calendar spanning sport, music and cultural activities. The week opens in Arco with the Youth Sport Climbing World Championships, continues in Desenzano del Garda with the Garda Lake Music Excellence, and includes ongoing exhibitions open to the public.

In Riva del Garda, the Mag venue hosts the exhibition “Visitate il Garda. Grafica e promozione dalla Belle Époque al turismo moderno” until October 18, curated by Matteo Rapanà and Anna Zunino. In Arco, the championships move through decisive stages: on Monday (July 20) it features Lead Under 17 and Under 19 semifinals and finals, followed on Tuesday (July 21) by Speed rounds for the same age categories; Wednesday (July 22) marks the start of the Boulder phase with Under 17 qualifications; and on Thursday (July 23) Boulder Under 19 qualifications take place, with later semifinals and finals scheduled outside this reporting window. In Desenzano, the music series presents harpists Luisa Prandina and Susanna Bertuccioli (July 21) and then recitals by Francesca Dego and Francesca Leonardi (July 22). Other events include a conference in Castiglione delle Stiviere on July 21 at 21:00 on Giovanni Chiassi and the battle of Bezzecca, and the start of a “Gargnano, la Storia e i suoi luoghi” history cycle running until August 12.
