Lake Garda Scammers Impersonate Police to Sell Fake Magazine Subscriptions

They impersonate carabinieri when making phone calls to hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurateurs around Lake Garda’s middle and upper areas, offering subscriptions to military magazines.

These are not military personnel but scammers who, at various times, claim to be from finance, the police, firefighters, or urban police officers.
