A new documentary project titled “The Song of Ice” focuses on the melting of the Làres Glacier in Trentino, part of the Adamello group. This initiative involved six photographers who, over the course of two summers and numerous ascents, captured images and sounds of a rapidly changing environment. The exhibition, which showcases four years of visual research, is a collective effort aimed at raising awareness about climate change through the beauty of mountain landscapes. The exhibition is organized by ZaLab with the support of Trentino Film Commission and other local partners, and it is open to the public every day from 9:30 AM to 1 PM and from 4 PM to 7:30 PM with free admission. This event represents an important opportunity to reflect on the disappearance of glaciers and their impact on the mountain ecosystem, highlighting the crucial need to preserve these natural environments.
