On April 16th, at the Aerobase in Ghedi (BS), home of the 6th Wing, an event dedicated to students called “Let’s Give Wings to Our Dreams – School Day 2024” will take place. The aim of this day is to promote unity and identity with the institutions in the local area, as well as the values that inspire unconditional service for the country, Italian traditions, and the culture of excellence worldwide. In particular, reference will be made to the heritage of history, aeronautical culture, and professionalism expressed by the Italian Air Force, the 6th Wing, and the “Frecce Tricolori” National Aerobatic Team.

During the event, students will have the opportunity to witness the “Frecce Tricolori” aerobatic display from a privileged perspective as part of their preparatory training for the 2024 season. It is a spectacle that is always unique and exciting.

This occasion can also provide students with inspiration for their future career choices. They will have the opportunity to interact with the world of the Military Aviation and the best professionals in the aeronautical, operational, logistical, and administrative fields. They will also be able to observe the most advanced aerospace technologies that are used daily at the 6th Wing of the Italian Air Force, a unit that represents Italian excellence in the sector.

Students will have the chance to visit exhibition stands where they can admire aircraft, vehicles, and equipment on static display. They will also have the opportunity to witness the normal operational training activities of the Wing.

Participation in the event is free and open to all interested parties, subject to accreditation through the following contacts: help desk: Phone 030-904 2010; email: aerostormo6.ci@aeronautica.difesa.it.

Access to the Aerobase will be possible by car and/or bus until the maximum number of participants is reached.
