Lions Club Sirmione Launches Fundraising Spiedo to Rebuild School in Congo
The Lions Club Sirmione is organizing a solidarity spit-roast event to fund the reconstruction of a school in Congo, led by Father Gasparre Di Vincenzo of the Kinshasa Diocese. The school, serving 500 children, was destroyed by criminal gangs, prompting the first reconstruction project in July 2024, supported by a major donation.
The event will take place at the Antoniano Institute in Desenzano on Sunday, April 19, starting at noon, featuring a raffle and participation fee of €30. The Lions Club has also launched a fundraising campaign to support the ongoing rebuilding efforts.
